24 sundial, 2017 - now

Night Sundial is sculptural image of mankind’s relationshop to the sun as it has developed throughout mileniums. Design of sundial is something that hasn’t changed since the oldest known devices of this kind were constructed. It is based on understanding of mechanics of movements of sun and earth. In the meantime, people developed many technologies related to sun and light. Some of theese, such as source of light powered by electricity, or light sensitive sensors are placed in machine in order to fix an essential lack of functionality in old sundials – it’s unability to work in night. When fully developed, I am planning this prototype to by powered by solar panels.
